Making a difference
They say life begins at 40. It certainly did for me. Always looking for the next adventure to satisfy my appetite for something new and exciting and combining that passion with making a difference to others less fortunate than myself. From swimming in ice cold water to walking on hot coals. Abseiling down the UK’s highest building and trekking across London’s bridges. And for good measure, a Bear Grylls army course which has been one of the toughest tests to date. I’ve raised over £7,000 for Haven House Children’s Hospice, Cancer Research, Blood Cancer UK, Macmillan, CALM, Age UK, GOSH, Royal British Legion, Crohn’s and Colitis UK and The Scouts. My most recent challenge was the 10K Cancer Research Winter Run and a personal best, running 6.6 miles in 66 mins.

They think it’s all over…
I started playing football for Fulham Ladies when I was 16. I played Sunday league until I was 23, training twice a week at Bishops Park next to Craven Cottage home to Fulham Football club. I’ve played in a number of charity matches and trained with Chigwell Ladies in 2020.
